danny michel - a brilliant canadian singer/songwriter, the 'brilliant' part easily proven by referring to the free songs he's got available for download here.

the james randi educational foundation - a must-read site for anyone interested in fighting back against pseudoscience, quackery, and "spiritual" scams.

bookcrossing - something fun to do with those old books you don't want anymore ... send them off into the wild!

the philosopher's magazine: games - a bunch of games and activities designed to make you think about the world and how you see it.

looney tunes - play games and watch cartoons ... what more could you want?

quizilla - a fun quiz site, that lets you make your own!

heromachine - a site for anyone who ever wanted to create their own superhero, but was defeated by a lack of artistic ability. pick a template, add a face, hair, mask, cape, weapon...

lilo and stitch - the official movie website, with games and downloads guaranteed to make you smile.

kim possible - the official site for the tv show, with some amazingly fun games (i recommend shopping avenger for the hilarious cartoon segments at the end, and rufus's snow ride because ... it's fun?)

toonopedia - an ever-growing encyclopedia of toons in print, film, and television. cool.
