it's done!

This afternoon, I reached the point I never thought I'd reach.

I walked up the hill, and handed in my last assignment.

The term is done. It is done, and I didn't implode. That has to be some kind of miracle.

Of course, I can't say I'm done first year until I finish my May practicum ... but I'm done all of my first year classes, and that has to count for something.

So today, I walked out of Beatty Hall, into the not-so-warm spring air, and said to myself...

...now what?

I think the answer is that it's time to get caught up on my writing. I once believed I'd be finished the first draft by now. Haw haw haw. I'm not even close.

My main character has just gotten herself stabbed, and then been saved by someone she hates. I can have some fun with these next few scenes. And I plan to. Oh, I plan to.
