pseudo-random thoughts for the day:

1. I hate pigeons. Stupid noisy, incontinent feathered rats, waking me up with the dawn and crapping all over my balcony.

2. My laundry line fell down four times today while I was trying to hang stuff up to dry. Fortunately, I was hanging my stuff up inside my apartment, because of the aforementioned pigeons, so nothing got irreparably re-dirtied.

3. Because of my laundry hanging to dry in my apartment, the whole place smells nice and fresh and clean. Which is nice, because one of my neighbours is making some kind of fish, and the whole rest of the floor smells like a frigging wharf.

4. I came across an article today on a possible cure for Huntington's Disease. I worked with a couple of Huntington's patients when I was volunteering at the hospital two years ago, and so ... yeah, I find this very exciting.

5. I need to state, for the record, that Valhalla is a fucking awesome CD, and I fully intend to be singing "Save It" and "White Lightning" and "Tennessee Tobacco" for weeks, non-stop. I probably shouldn't have waited to buy the latest Snow Patrol CD until I could buy Valhalla at the same time. Now the one is fully overshadowing the other, which isn't fair because they're both such good CDs.

6. Did I mention that I hate pigeons?
