Wheeeeee!

What? I'm in a good mood.

I finally got done re-editing the last set of audio files I was working on today (and completely restrained my urge to start vocally cursing whoever it was who edited them the first time around), which means that we're super-close to being able to send off all of our material for this blasted computer game. Once I know what's happening with it, I'll let anyone who cares know, and you can all buy a copy of an educational game for preschoolers featuring my stuffy-nosed voice. Wheeeeee!

I got two birthday presents in the mail today, too. Well, actually, only one, from my sister. The other was just a package slip, saying that I can't pick it up until tomorrow afternoon. But that's good too. Because it means I both got mail, and have something to look forward to tomorrow! Wheeeeeee!

One of my class friends is back in town and volunteering in the lab. So that's one more person to chat to. Plus, since we're both on the orientation committee, we spend a lot of time planning for the end of the month, when school starts. Granted, she's a super-keener and doing most of the work, but still. It's fun. Also, she's lending me French-language movies, which are both entertaining and good practice for my French exam (which may or may not be on September 12th). Last night, I watched La Grande Séduction, which is tres amusant and highly recommended to anyone with a less than pathological fear of subtitled films. Wheeeeeeee!

And my drinking buddy is back in town! Wheeeeeeee!

Yep, life is good.

Even if my textbook orders are all %$&#ed up. Stupid Thomson Delmar. Stupid abebooks. Bahhhhh.
