I didn't realize just how much I missed him.

That friend of mine, I mean. You know. My drinking buddy. The one I had the hots for for a while there. Him.

We hung out last night, for the first time in about two months. I, at least, got pretty damn drunk. It was fun.

After not talking to him for so long, I was beginning to wonder if the friendship hadn't just petered out. But, no. That was me being stupid and paranoid again. Or something. At any rate, seeing him again made me ridiculously happy.

Apparently his former roommate wants to date me.

Weird.

I'm seeing that guy I went out with last week again this weekend.

Hey, look! I'm dating! Casually dating, and not jumping into relationships right on the first damn date!

Suddenly, I feel like normal people.

Now that is weird.

Oh, and as an aside, thanksya muchly to the people responsible for the chocolate cake batter explosion in my kitchen tonight.

Sure, it's a mess, but it's a delicious mess.
