Life is good right now.

I mean, sure, I'm stuck doing stuff I really don't enjoy doing at work (audio files of babies ... because the preschool project I was hired to work on seems to have fallen into the abyss). But at least I have a job.

And sure, I've got a couple of brain-meltingly dull classes this term, but at least they're easy.

And sure, my internship plans to stay with my parents have fallen through, but I've decided that the idea of subletting somewhere for a few months, while financially less than ideal, isn't really so bad. And I just might get a really good internship out of it ... and that's the most important thing.

I love my current placement, I've got some good friends and a boyfriend who's a total sweetheart, I have fun plans coming up (a visit from my sister, dinner at my favourite restaurant, and a weekend in New Hampshire among them), and despite the fact that a whole bunch of things (my French exam results, when I can start working, where I'm going to live when I finish my internship) are up in the air, I'm not stressing. (Maybe part of that is that I'm resigned to borrowing money from my mom. Ick.)

So, no complaints from me just now.

Give me a few weeks. ;-)
