So I'm back in Montreal, after a great, but too short and not-restful-enough vacation. I'm already up to my ears in schoolwork. Two presentations very soon and a paper due Friday that I haven't started because I've been away and my partner's been badly sick.

Oh well. Such is life.

The boyfriend survived meeting the parents and the friends. And the dog. So that part worked out well too.

I made a terrible, terrible mistake today.

I went into an Indigo.

You have to understand, it's been months since my last Indigo splurge. I've been buying secondhand books or not buying books at all.

In that time, more than a couple of authors I like have had new paperback releases.

Damn you, fun writers! Damn you, Indigo! Damn you all!
